Missions Pastor – James Charles


Pastor James Charles and his wife Santa are originally from St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. They both accepted Jesus as their Savior in 1984, were active in their home church, and enrolled at the Bluewater Bible College, on St. Thomas. Upon retirement from the government of the Virgin Islands, The Charles family relocated to Carrollton, Texas in 1994, and served at the Keller Springs Baptist Church for over 10 years. The Charles’ joined the Woodlake family in the Fall of 2005, as Pastor of Missions & Evangelism. Since moving to Texas, Pastor Charles has been involved in the start of 8 new congregations. [Acts 16:9-10]



Student Pastor – Matt Keller

Lyndi and MattMatt and Lyndi Keller came to Woodlake  on Jan. 4, 2015. Matt is a student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Ft. Worth, and Lyndi is a school teacher. They have a beautiful young daughter, Naomi, and a new precious baby girl, Amelia.





Vietnamese Pastor – Le-Phuec Le


Pastor Le came to Woodlake at the beginning of 2012. He and his wife, Kim, have been in full-time Christian ministry for over 15 years. He is a masterful musician and passionate about sharing the Gospel. He and his family left south Vietnam in the 1970’s, and he has lived in Texas for about 15 years. He and Kim are in the process of starting Woodlake’s ministry to the Vietnamese people of the Carrollton area. They meet each Sunday at 10:45am in the Woodlake choir room and have seen the group reach over 20+ people this year!



Korean Ministry Director – Philip Kim

Philip and Grace came to Woodlake in January, 2013. Philip served as a student/children’s minister at their home church in S. Korea for 10 years. Grace was a school teacher. They both have a great love for Christ and for sharing the Gospel with others. Philip is a doctoral student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth. Grace is the Woodlake pianist. Together they lead the Korean Bible study every Sunday morning at 9:30am.
